abellamichelleMichele Abella teaches Lower School Spanish at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS).  She earned a BS in Elementary Education from Florida International University and along with her degree she graduated with an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement.

This is Michele’s first year of teaching at SFCS.  She recently moved to Greenville from Miami, Florida with her husband Frank.  Michele is part of a wonderful Cuban-American family.  She grew up in a home where Spanish was the primary language and was fluent at an early age.

Michele’s interests include: cooking, baking, decorating, hiking, swimming, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her dog Bear.

Michele’s favorite Bible passage is Philippians 4: 8 (NKJV)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
