Salem Erni teaches Upper School Linguistics at Shannon Forest.  Born in Ethiopia and raised in Switzerland, she holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Linguistics and English Literature) from North Greenville University.  While at North Greenville, Ms. Erni also played for the tennis team.  She speaks Swiss German, German, French, English, Amharic and some Spanish.

Ms. Erni enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, hiking and swimming.  Her interests also include languages, history, traveling, interior decorating, shopping, cooking, music and dance.  Her favorite Bible scripture Luke 8:47.
