Halls of Fun and Faith

SmileThe time has come for Shannon Forest Christian School's annual fundraising event, Halls of Fun and Faith. This event invites each grandparent to honor your child by filling out the Halls of Fun and Faith cards and returning them to be displayed in the hallways of SFCS. These cards have been sent to your child's grandparent(s). The blessing card will be given to each child as a memento to later cherish in life.

The theme for this year's Halls of Fun and Faith fundraiser is "Smile! Jesus Loves You!" as elucidated in John 3:16. God has given us so many reasons to smile! Each grandparent has been asked to write on the blessing card how their grandchild makes them smile. Is it the way they yell out their name and run to them with open arms? The grandparent(s) kind words and action is sure to encourage your child.

Note: Parents are welcome to participate in this fundraiser. The cards may be picked up in the Lower School or Upper School Office, or by downloading and printing the Halls of Fun and Faith Form below. Please return the cards by Friday, April 23, with a suggested donation of $15 for each child honored. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jo D. Bowers at 864-430-4242.

SFCS Parent/Teacher Fellowship Needs You!

Thank you to all of the parents who helped with the Shannon Forest Christian School Parent/Teacher Fellowship (PTF) this year and supported our fundraisers. We really appreciate it. It’s hard to believe, but we need to start planning for next year today!

If you are interested in serving on the PTF Board, we could really use you and some fresh ideas. Men and women are welcome!  PTF especially needs people who are good leaders, good at creating spreadsheets, those who are gifted in event planning.  The PTF is a great way to serve our school and if you work full or part time, you can still be involved as there are many tasks that can be done from home.

  • Friday, April 9
  • Friday, May 14

All meetings will be held in Lower School Meeting Room 103B from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
