Home School Partnership

Purpose:
To provide academic services to Home School families in the Greater Greenville Area who desire assistance with quality education from a Biblical perspective.

General Information:
The following 2008-2009 courses are available for enrollment by Home School Partners:

Pre-Algebra (Honors) Chemistry AP Language & Composition
Algebra I (Advanced) AP Biology AP Literature
Algebra II (Advanced) Human Anatomy & Physiology AP Computer
Algebra II (Honors) Physics Global Studies I
Geometry English 9 (advanced) Global Studies II
Pre-AP Calculus English 9 (honors) U.S. History
AP Calculus English 10 (advanced) AP U.S. History
Physical Science English 10 (honors) AP European History
Biology I English 11 (advanced) Spanish I, II, III
Pre-AP Biology English 12 (advanced) French I, II, III

More Details

  • The Home School Partnership is available to Upper School students in 9th – 12th Grade.
  • Admission of Home School families will begin July 7th and placement into classes will begin August 1st . Schedules for students enrolled in the SFCS Home School Partnership will be confirmed during the registration/open house on August 15th .
  • Home School applicants must meet Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) admission requirements and be in adherence with all SFCS policies.
  • Registration for a course will be dependent on availability and will occur on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Home school students may enroll in a maximum of 2 classes per school year.
  • Home school students will have permission to be on campus during the scheduled times of their registered classes.
  • Students in the SFCS Home School Partnership will not qualify for the extra curricular services and activities provided to full-time students.

 

Tuition:
Application Fee: $25.00 (due with application)
Yearly Enrollment Fee: $25.00
Cost per course: $600.00
Additional lab cost (science): $50.00
Textbook purchase determined by course
