Our Purpose

Shannon Forest Christian School began in 1968 with a vision of providing a Christ-centered education that would nurture the Christian values that students were being taught at home and in the church. Today, as a fully accredited college preparatory school serving the entire Christian community, Shannon Forest continues to carry on its original mission.

Located on a spacious 50-acre campus in the heart of Greenville’s Eastside, Shannon Forest Christian School offers a complete educational program for children in three-year-old preschool through the twelfth grade. Under the leadership of a Board of Directors, the school operates as a ministry of Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church. We are an interdenominational school with more than 130 churches and over 20 denominations represented by our school families.

At Shannon Forest Christian School, our commitment to excellence is exceeded only by our commitment to Jesus Christ. Our college preparatory program provides a strong foundation in math, science, history and English. Advanced Placement courses in English, Computer, U.S. History, European History, Biology and Calculus are available to qualified students. Shannon Forest offers a full range of guidance services to assist students with the scheduling of courses, college applications, scholarship applications, standardized testing, transcripts, career exploration, and personal counseling.
