SFCS Math Olympians Include Perfect Score Winner

Greenville, SC - Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) students in 3rd through 8th Grades recently participated in the 2010 Association of Christian School International (ACSI) Math Olympics with impressive results.  SFCS, the host site of the competition, is proud to celebrate student Paris Cruz who walked away with not only a 1st Place medal, but a PERFECT score on the four test she took in the 3rd Grade category of reasoning.   “I can only remember one other time this has happened in the history of our competing,” said SFCS Olympics coordinator Margaret McCanless.  The following students also achieved test results qualifying them to participate and many completed with scores worthy of placement status. First place winners who scored 85% or more also received a medal.
