We think that graduating from SFCS is quite an accomplishment and we want to honor that accomplishment by creating a place on our website just for you. 2011 Shannon Forest Alumna Shines In First College Soccer Match
Former Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) Soccer standout Catherine Funk saw her first college minutes this past week in Anderson University's 3-1 win over Converse College in Women's Soccer. Funk, a 2011 graduate of SFCS, entered the scoreless game twenty minutes into the first half and immediately won a corner kick for the Trojans, which resulted in the game's first goal. In the second half, Funk picked up her first college assist on what turned out to be the game winning goal.
