Alvin Sell teaches Upper School History at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). He also serves as the Department Head for studies in Bible and History. Mr. Sell earned a BA in Pastoral Studies from Tennessee Temple University and a MA+30 in History Education from Furman University. He also attended Winston-Salem University for Social Studies Certification. Mr. Sell has 21 years of teaching experience and has been a member of the SFCS faculty for 15 years.
He enjoys running, reading (favorite authors are Marvin Oslasky, CS Lewis, and Tim Keller), watching good movies, playing card games, and doing anything that involves his family being together. Mr. Sell's Favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:14...
