Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) senior, Jordyn Robertson, has signed with Spartanburg Methodist to continue her volleyball career.  Robertson was the lone senior on a very young Shannon Forest team and filled a huge need at the setter position after the Crusaders lost a two year starting setter.  “Robertson’s experience was instrumental in helping some of the younger players develop throughout the course of the season,” said SFCS Head Coach Ryan Godsey.

Robertson was also used at times as a defensive specialist, because of her ability to serve receive and dig balls in order to keep the Crusaders in points.  “Jordyn was a very determined player who never settled for less than her best each time she stepped on the floor,” added Godsey.  “She will be missed by the Crusaders, but we also wish her the best and look forward to hearing great things about her at Spartanburg Methodist."  Robertson played one year at Shannon Forest after transferring from Travelers Rest High School.  She was a great addition to both the Shannon Forest community and Volleyball team.
