SFCS Cross Country Runners Place, Set Records & Drop Times In Recent Meet

              September 29 , 2008 - The Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) Cross Country Crusaders returned to St. Joseph’s on Thursday, September 25, for another Invitational meet. A change in the course added a steady incline for the runners that proved to be quite a challenge. Despite the new difficulty, sophomore Garret Conover placed 4th overall with a time of 19:30, with the top 3 spots all going to the 3A runners from St. Joseph’s. Seventh Grade runner Olivia Cummins fought her way to the fastest time for the Crusader Girls’ with a time of 24:03. Sophomore Blake Allen dropped his time again, for the fourth meet in a row, with a time of 24:18. The Crusaders will face Asheville Christian this Tuesday, September 30.
