US Spring Concert (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
On Thursday, May 3, the Shannon Forest Singers and Middle School Choir will present a production – Cinemania! at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary. The evening will include songs from motions pictures such as Slum Dog Millionaire, Titanic, The Lion King, Shrek and more.

1st Grade All American Day (All Day)
Shannon Forest 1st Grade students and their families will celebrate the traditional All-American Picnic Day on Friday, May 4. They day will begin at
10:00 a.m. with games on the East Campus (LS) Baseball Field. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. in the Gymnasium, followed by an All-American Program at 12:15 p.m. Water games on the Early Childhood Playground from 12:40 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. will end the day of fun.

Bridges Tea Party (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM)
Shannon Forest Christian School 6th Grade students will host their elder-partners from the Gardens of Eastside for the annual Bridges Tea Party on Monday, May 7. The tea will be held in the East Campus Multi-Purpose Room from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

1st – 5th Grade Field Day (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
1st through 5th Grade Field Day will be held on Friday, May 11, with a rain date of Monday, May 14. All the games take place on the East Campus (LS) Baseball Field from 9:00a.m. to 11:40a.m. Lunch will be at 12 noon and the day will end with a teacher vs. 5th Grade kickball game. Parents are invited to come and they are welcome to order lunch.

PK4 Mother’s Day Tea (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
Shannon Forest PK4 students will continue the precious tradition of the Mother's Day Tea on Friday, May 11. The students honor their mothers’ with a "tea", songs, and personal poems. The event is from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in PK4 classrooms.

5th Grade F.O.C.U.S students of Julie Sellars will travel to the Museum and Library of Confederate History on
Tuesday, May 15, as part of their study of the Civil War. Students will depart at 11:55 a.m. and return at 2:30 p.m.

Senior Class Luncheon (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
The Senior Class Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 12 noon in the East Campus (LS)Multi-purpose Room. Family members and friends are all welcome to attend. Siblings that are enrolled at SFCS may also attend. Reservations and tickets are required in advance. If you would like to attend, tickets can be purchased for $11 by Friday, May 4.

Baccalaureate Ceremony (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
The Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2012 will be held on Thursday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the SFPC Sanctuary. This is a time of worship and celebration for the Class of 2012, their families, faculty, staff and administration. The mothers and fathers of seniors will march in with their senior at the beginning of the service and will sit with their senior during the service. The service usually lasts about one hour. Please make plans to attend this special evening ceremony.

Graduation (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Graduation of the Class of 2012 will take place on Friday, May 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the SFPC Sanctuary. Graduates should arrive by 6:00 p.m. All faculty need to arrive by 6:30 p.m. and will process across Garlington Road and into the Sanctuary. There will be a reception in the East Campus (LS) Multi-purpose Room immediately following the ceremony.
