harrisjeanJean Harris teaches Upper School English at Shannon Forest Christian School.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, English and a Masters in Education in Secondary Guidance from Clemson University.

Jean brings eight years of experience to SFCS having taught for 8 years in the Greenville County School District.  She was a teacher at League Middle School, Mauldin Middle School and also served as a substitute teacher.

She is married to husband Wally, and they have three young, adult children; Katie, Taylor and Graham.  Jean enjoys walking, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She is a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church where she teaches adult Sunday School, sings in the choir and leads the women’s ministry.

Jean’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 84:11:

For the Lord God is the sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”
