Amanda Tinklepaugh
Upper School Math
Amanda Tinklepaugh teaches all Upper School Math courses at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education from Mercer University and continued to earn an M.Ed. in Secondary Education Mathematics from Clemson University.
SFCS will benefit from her 14 years of experience teaching secondary Math at Wahalla High and Middle Schools and Wren High School.
Amanda has been married to husband Wayne for 27 years and they have two daughters – Dana, a senior at Clemson and Lauren, a freshman at Anderson University. She loves to travel, spend time with her family, read and decorate.
Her favorite Bible passage is Hebrews 12: 1-3:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
