Debbie Patterson is a Kindergarten teacher at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). She received her BA + 18 degree in Elementary Education from Newhall, CA and Lynchburg College, VA. Mrs. Patterson has been teaching for 27 years, 17 of which have been in Kindergarten. She has taught in the states of Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington and has been a part of the SFCS Early Childhood teaching staff for the past seven years.

Mrs. Patterson's husband John is a pastor at Community Baptist Church in Wellford. They have two grown children: John, Jr. (JJ) and Kimi and three grandchildren: Bryson, Tori and Rachel.

Her hobbies include reading, needle crafts, cooking and activities with her family. She also enjoys baking cookies and having "Tea Parties" with her grandchildren. Mrs. Patterson also collects dolls and bears.

Mrs. Patterson's favorite books in the Bible are Psalms and Philippians. Her favorite Bible verses are Psalm 16:11 and Jeremiah 29:11-14...
