Debbie Patterson
KT (Transitional Kindergarten)
Debbie Patterson is a Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) where she also serves as a Lead Teacher. She received her BA + 18 degree in Elementary Education from Newhall, CA and Lynchburg College, VA. She also holds her state and ACSI certification for PreK - 8th Grade and a secondary English endorsement.
Mrs. Patterson has been teaching for 28 years, 18 of which have been in Kindergarten. She has taught in the states of Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington and has been a part of the SFCS Early Childhood teaching staff for the past 9 years.
Mrs. Patterson's husband John is a pastor at Community Baptist Church in Wellford. They have two grown children and six grandchildren.
Her hobbies include reading, needle crafts, cooking and going to the mountains or beach with her family.
Mrs. Patterson's favorite books in the Bible are Psalms and Philippians. Her favorite Bible verses are Psalm 16:11 and Jeremiah 29:11-14..."You have made known to me the path of life, you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand." --Psalm 16:11
