2010-2011 Campus Attire Guidelines
Grades 1st-12th

Dress Item Description
Shirts and Blouse
  • Any collared shirt/blouse/turtleneck in solid school colors of forest green,
    yellow (gold), white and /or black
  • Shirts/blouses do not have to have an insignia
  • Navy blue shirts will be allowed in grades 1st-5th but will be phased out
    by Fall of 2011.
  • Brand logos are not allowed
Skirts/Pants/Capris
and Jumpers(1-5)
  • SFCS black and white hounds tooth plaid (6-12)/Educational Outfitters
    plaid (1-5). All plaids will be phased out by Fall 2011.
  • Solid khaki, black and navy blue
  • Skirts may not exceed 3 inches above the middle of the kneecap
Skort/Shorts
  • SFCS black and white hounds tooth plaid
  • Solid khaki, black and navy blue
  • Skorts/shorts may not exceed 3 inches above the middle of the kneecap
Outwear
  • Outerwear may be any school color. The SFCS insignia is not required.
Tights
  • Solid form fitting tights, leggings or panty hose in solid school colors
    may be worn.
Accessories
  • Hair accessories (including headscarves) should be solid neutral colors
    or solid school colors
  • Belts must be worn in belt loops with shirts longer, than pocket length,
    tucked in. Dominant color must be solid brown, black, navy or tan.
Shoes
  • Closed toe shoes; shoe heels not to exceed 2 inches.
  • Dominant color should be conservative (i.e. black, navy,
    tan, brown, or white)
  • Tennis shoes must be worn during P.E. class
Field Trip Attire
  • Campus attire as deemed appropriate for student safety
    and school representation
  • Variations at the discretion of the administration

Miscellaneous
  • Shirts longer than pocket length must be tucked in.
  • Outside layering of undergarments (including camisoles) is prohibited.
    Those worn under shirts/blouses must be white, natural or a school color
  • All clothing must fit properly and be in good repair. Pants, capris, skirts,
    shorts and skorts must be worn at waist level. Excessively baggy, frayed
    clothing and pants that drag the floor are not permitted.
  • Extreme hairstyles and colors are prohibited. All student hair must be
    clean and neat. Facial hair on male students is not permitted.
  • Visible body tattoos are not permitted.
  • Jewelry that is distracting or draws undue attention to the student
    is prohibited.
  • Sunglasses and hats are not permitted.
  • Bare midriffs may not be exposed at any time while standing w/ arms
    extended or while sitting.
