Fine Arts
The Fine Arts Department at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) exists to develop students' creative abilities for the glory of God. Students are offered instruction in three primary areas of artistic expression: Drama, Music and the Visual Arts. Students are trained in the history, theory and practice of each discipline. Annual concerts, dramatic productions and other events, allow students to demonstrate what they have learned. Participation in community events provides students with an opportunity to share their gifts with our community. Competitions and festival appearances give students vital feedback and recognition for their efforts. At SFCS, we seek to nurture the creative abilities of each student and celebrate their accomplishments.
SFCS Fine Arts To Offer Summer Camps!
The Fine Arts Program at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) is offering two, new summer camp opportunities for 2010!
- “Let the Music Move You” will be offered from Monday, July 26, through Friday, July 30, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- “Praise Band Camp” will be offered from Monday, August 2, through Wednesday, August 4, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
