“Transformation” A Hit At the Greenville
Women’s Music Club

On Tuesday, February 5, “Transformation,” SFCS’ High School Choir, performed at the Beattie House for the Greenville Women’s Music Club. Their performance, entitled Journey to My Heart’s Desire, featured the original compositions of SFCS vocal music teacher, Rhonda Woodward. Before the performance, they enjoyed refreshments served by the members of the Music Club and at the conclusion of the program, the choir and members of the Women’s Club jointly performed a song that recently won the National Federation of Music Club’s composition contest. The song was entitled We Sing (lyrics by Greenville resident Anne Braswell, and music by Rhonda Woodward, submitted by the Greenville Women’s Music Club).

Soloists for this performance were: Joshua Brown, Katie Horton, Caroline Hendricks, Jason Johnson and Zach Klein. Instrumentalists were Lauren Good, Caroline Hendricks and Michael Stephens.

Performing with the choir were: Chantelle Bateman, Katelyn Bensch, Charl Coester, Austin Dils, Kellie Douglas, Callie Floyd, Esther Galletta, Sarah Geier, Tyler Goewey, Katie Harrell, Faith Lanford, Tricia Miller, Brennan Price, Quinlyn Sellars, Madison Stephens, Sarah Thackston, Brittany Troka, Brie Walker, Bonnie Westlake and Tamara Younkins. Upper School Principal Larry Clark,and SFCS teacher, Ryan Godsey also attended the performance.
