True Crusader Spirit Shines in Homecoming 2012!
Shannon Forest showed its true Crusader spirit during the recent Homecoming 2012 Spirit Week! Approximately $3500 was raised to benefit our mission in Costa Rica called Transformación/The Guararí – la Cuenca project. Shannon Forest focuses on La Cuenca, which is part of Guarari, Heredia, Costa Rica, reaching out to 400 families and about 800 children.

Buffalo Wild Wings, Thursday, January 26, 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 
All proceeds from the 2012 Shannon Forest Spirit Week will go to benefit a mission in Costa Rica called Transformación/The Guararí – la Cuenca project. Shannon Forest focuses on La Cuenca, which is part of Guarari, Heredia, Costa Rica, reaching out to 400 families and about 800 children.
Saturday, January 21: 9th – 12th Grade students will kick off Homecoming Spirit Week with a dance to be held in the West Campus Gymnasium from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The evening will include a photo booth, food, music and dancing. Dress up or down to a retro-chic theme!
Monday, January 23: Pajama Day – students will enjoy a pancake breakfast and wear their pajamas to school. The breakfast will be held in the East Campus Multi-purpose Room from 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend. PK3 – K5 students must be accompanied by a parent to attend. Cost is $4 per person.
Tuesday, January 24: Senior Citizen’s Day/Grandma & Grandpa Day – Dress up as a grandparent.
Wednesday, January 25: Blast from the Past Day - Wear your favorite retro outfit from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s
Thursday, January 26: Animal Day – students will dress up as their favorite animal!
Friday, January 27: SFCS Spirit Day- students will dress in green, black and gold.
UPPER SCHOOL Week Long Activities
• Bid for Parking Spot – bidding starts on Tuesday, January 17 and ends Saturday, January 21. Students can bid on a parking spot on the West Campus (US). Park in the staff lot during Spirit Week in a reserved space. FIVE spots will be auctioned off. Bidding starts at $20 per spot. Place your bid with any Student Council Representative. Winners will be announced at the Homecoming Dance.
• Lunch Out for SIX – You and six friends can enjoy a lunch out on Thursday, February 2. Bidding starts at $60. Place bids from Monday, January 23 to Friday, January 27.
Important Re-Enrollment Instructions
Shannon Forest families can now re-enroll students for the 2012-2013 school year through our Parent Web Program in THREE EASY steps!
1. Go to the Enrollment/Re-enrollment area of Parent Web (Log on to Parent Web, click Family Information, click Enrollment/Re-enrollment, check the box next to your student's name, verify information as you scroll through each page - click Next button when page is complete, continue to the Finish page until you receive the message that Re-enrollment is complete)
2. Click on the Enrollment Contract below, print and complete the easy, one-page form
3. Return with Re-Enrollment Fee of $300/ student to Shannon Forest Christian School

A hard copy of the 2012-2013 Re-Enrollment Form is available at the link below. Return the completed form and Re-Enrollment Fee to the school.
