Shannon Forest Students Named 2011 AP Scholars

The 2011 College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program recently recognized their AP Scholars for the year.  Shannon Forest Christian School is proud to announce that five of our Class of 2011 graduates are included in this prestigious group of nationally renowned students.

Thomas Spurgeon	Brian Van Dyke

Thomas Spurgeon and Brian Van Dyke have achieved the status of AP Scholar with Distinction (granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams). 

Chelsea Allen	Garret Conover	Peter Heitman

Chelsea Allen, Garret Conover and Peter Heitman have achieved the status of AP Scholar (granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.) The AP Program offers AP Scholar Awards to high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams.   Thomas currently attends the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  Brian currently attends Covenant College.  Chelsea is  a student at Clemson University.  Garret and Peter are freshman at Presbyterian College.  Congratulations to our recent graduations on their outstanding success!
