SFCS Student Heads To Regional Spelling Bee!
Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) recently hosted the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Spelling Bee on Friday, March 5. Several SFCS students took home top honors. 7th Grade student Bruce Coffey took first place in his grade and 2nd place in the final Spell Off. This award won him a spot to represent SFCS at the Regional Bee to be held in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Other students who placed included: 5th Grade student Sydney Kirk took 2nd place in her grade and Reilly Peters took 2nd place in the 6th Grade category.
