Jan Samuelson teaches 1st Grade at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). She graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University and has been teaching for 21 years, 13 of those at SFCS.   Mrs. Samuelson holds a teaching certificate in Elementary Education in the state of South Carolina.  “I love working with children this age,” remarked Samuelson.  “It is an honor to partner with parents during this season of their children's lives.”  

Mrs. Samuelson grew up in Rockford, Illinois and moved south after graduation from college. She and her husband of 26 years and twin 22 year old daughters Anna and Kristin, have made Greenville their home for the last 20 years. Mrs. Samuelson and her husband are members of Downtown Presbyterian Church.  

Mrs. Samuelson enjoys walking, cooking, reading, going to the movies and grabbing windows of time with her daughters and friends. Her favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6...
