SFCS 3rd Grade Students Recognized In National Young Scholars Program

Two Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) 3rd Grade students have been recognized as Distinguished Alumni in the 2009 National Young Scholars Program (NYSP). The program is designed and created specifically for the nation's most outstanding 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, each of who have been personally selected for nomination by a teacher. Rachel Castellani and Seth Carden were nominated based on their interest in science. The nomination came from SFCS 2nd Grade teacher Becky Eaton who is an Honorary Member of the 2009/2010 National Nominating Committee. A third student, Alexander Case was also nominated, but was unable to attend the nationally recognized, interactive program.
