mcalindenmarycatherineMary Catherine McAlinden teaches 3rd Grade in Shannon Forest Christian School's (SFCS) Lower School. Mrs. McAlinden is from Rock Hill, South Carolina and graduated with a BA in English from Wofford College. She went on to earn her Master of Arts (MAT) in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina in 2010.  This is her second year teaching 3rd Grade at SFCS.  “I am so excited to return to such a wonderful school community,” commented McAlinden.

Recently married, Mrs. McAlinden enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Bailey.  Her hobbies include running, snow skiing, reading, spending time with family and friends, and anything outdoors! Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 37:4:

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
