SFCS 6th Grade Student Moves On To State Geography Competition!

SHANNON FOREST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
MARCH 17th, 2008

Anthony FerrignoShannon Forest Christian School is very proud of 6th Grade student Anthony Ferrigno for his accomplishments in the ACSI Geography Bee! Ferrigno took the written test for state qualification, after winning the SFCS Geography Bee. The school then submitted his scores to state and our winner was invited to participate in the state competition! Only the top 100 students in the state were invited to participate in this honor. The state competition will take place on Friday, April 4, in Columbia, South Carolina in the State Museum. The state winner will receive $100, a globe and a trip to Washington, D.C. to compete in the national Geography Bee.

SFCS Students Spell Their Way To S-U-C-C-E-S-S!

Congratulations to the Shannon Forest Christian School ACSI District Spelling Bee winners from the recently held competition on Friday, March 7. SFCS hosted this spectacular event and these students came away as winners:

SFCS Students Excel At Science Fair!

SFCS students returned from the ACSI Science Fair in Charlotte, North Carolina with impressive results. Out of the fifteen students who participated, four received excellent ratings and eleven received superior ratings. The students also displayed their projects at the Greenville County Science Fair held on Tuesday, March 11.
