GREENVILLE, SC - An unexpected special assignment
to Iraq has required Lt. Col. Oliver North to reschedule
his attendance at the Shannon Forest Christian School
(SFCS) Annual Fund Banquet, previously scheduled for
Friday, November 21, 2003. The event has been rescheduled
as a highlight of the Christmas season on Friday, December
12, at the Palmetto Expo Center in Greenville, South
Carolina.
The Director of Development at SFCS, Steve Whaley says,
“We were informed by Col. North’s office
that his duties as Fox News war correspondent and host
of War Stories, have required him to leave for an unexpected
special assignment to Iraq. Regrettably he will not
be available for our November 21 Annual Fund Banquet.”

sharing his perspective on life from this volatile region.
He will also share his deeply moving Christian testimony
and his passion for Christian education.
