Friday, April 22 Is Spring Fling Day!

Anticipation and excitement surround the approaching Spring Fling scheduled for Friday, April 22, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event is also open to the greater Greenville community, so spread the word! The Spring Fling will be held on the Upper School Campus and will include great food, games, rides and the new Crusader Cupboard. Also new to this year’s event is our Silent Auction. Here’s just a few of the many incredible items that will be featured at the auction:

  • A 4-day, 4-night Disney vacation, complete with park hopper passes
  • A Champion Coach chartered bus trip
  • A party for 12 at Sunray Farm with a hayride, bonfire and fishing
  • A Leon Loard signature oil portrait

SFCS’ O’Kelley Signs Volleyball Scholarship to Brevard

SFCS Crusader Cookbooks Are Here!

The popular Crusader Cookbooks are now available and they’re full of 469 mom tested/kid approved recipes and beautiful illustrations submitted by SFCS students, faculty and family! The cost per book is $10 and they are available in both the Lower and Middle School Offices. All proceeds from the sale will help to fund the SFCS July Mission Trip to Barrier Islands.

SFCS Upper School Book Fair GRAND OPENING!

Stop in to the Upper School Library during the SPRING FLING to get a jump on great books that will be featured in the upcoming Book Fair. If you pre-ordered any of the delicious, family-friendly casseroles from the SFCS Casserole Sale, don’t forget to bring your cooler to the Spring Fling on Friday, April 22. All orders will be delivered to the Upper School Gymnasium on the morning of the Spring Fling and ready for you take home for future, stress-free meals!

SFCS INAUGURAL GOLF TOURNAMENT POSTPONED!

Thank you to all who have expressed interest in the planning of and participation in the SFCS Inaugural Golf Tournament. After further discussion, the planning committee has made the decision to postpone the previously scheduled May 16 tournament until a date in the fall. The additional lead time will allow for greater planning time to assure the success of the event. Spend your summer polishing up your golf swing and look for more information in the future! Halls of Fun and Faith for SPRING FLING 2005

Hundreds of Bible verses honoring your children have been mailed in by grandparents! The halls of the Lower School and the cafeteria of the Upper School are being decorated with these verses, the child’s name and grandparents’ name. If your child’s grandparent has not mailed in their Bible verse, the deadline has been extended until Friday, April 22. If a grandparent is unable to participate, parents may participate in their place. Cards for this fundraising effort are available in the Middle and Lower School Offices for a suggested donation of $10 each. For more information contact Joanne Heiser at 678-5111.

2-Liter Soda Bottles Needed For Ever-Popular Ring Toss Game!

Question. What was the longest line at last year’s Spring Fling games? Answer. The 2-liter soda bottle ring-toss game! To make this game the success that it was last year, we need donations of 2-liter bottles of soda from all who are willing to donate. Please send one 2-liter bottle of soda per child to your classroom teacher by Thursday, April 21.
