Praise is the word to use as we update you
on the most recent progress at Shannon Forest Christian
School
(SFCS)!
We are thrilled to announce that a total of $167,217
in donations has been raised toward our goal of $190,000!
In less than six weeks, we’ve been able to accomplish
86% of our goal! This success is a true testimony of
the commitment of our families and friends toward the
future of SFCS. Thank you! There are four additional
fundraising events planned to assist us in reaching and
hopefully exceeding our goal for this year. We would
love to see overwhelming attendance for all of these
events!
- We’re pleased to report that the
first-ever Shannon Soiree raised $2,370! Thank you
to all who planned and participated in this event.

below.
- Tickets are going fast for the SFCS Fashion
Show and Brunch featuring Miss South Carolina to
be held on Saturday, March 12, from 10:00 a.m. – 12
noon at the Greenville Country Club. SFCS students,
parents
and grandparents will model spring fashions and the
God’s
Kids Choir will furnish entertainment. (See page
5 for details.)
- The SFCS Spring Fling is just around
the corner and you won’t want to miss this
wonderful evening of fun, rides, games, great food
and fellowship!
The event will be held on the SFCS Upper School Campus
on Friday, April 22, immediately following school
dismissal until 7:30 p.m. This year’s event
will also include a silent auction. (See page 4 for
volunteer opportunities.)
- Save
the date of Monday, May 16, for the SFCS Golf Tournament!
Participants will enjoy a great day of golf, fellowship
and fun at the Greenville Country Club Riverside
Course.
As always, we find that our own families
are SFCS’ best
recruiters! Please continue to tell your friends
and neighbors about our school and pray for both
the retention
of our current families and for prospective families
as they consider SFCS for their future.
We have so
many wonderful blessings for which to celebrate God’s
glorious work here at SFCS, but now is not the time
to rest! Our challenge is to finish this school year
with
strength and great joy! If you would like to attend
or volunteer to help with any of the SFCS events,

challenge students to influence culture and society
for Jesus Christ.
