SFCS Welcomes New Teacher Annalisa Roggow!

GREENVILLE, SC - Mrs. Annalisa Roggow is in
her first year as a full-time teacher here at Shannon
Forest Christian School, though she is very familiar
with our school from her position as a teacher’s
aide last year.

In addition to the 4th Grade basic classes, Roggow
teaches 4th Grade Math and Science to complement Mrs.
Ray’s teaching of English and Social Studies.
She earned her degree at Concordia College in Seward,
Nebraska and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree
in Education for Elementary Education and Secondary
Social Sciences. Roggow taught a combined 3rd and 4th
Grade class for four years in Arlington, Nebraska. After
a seven-year break to be a stayhome Mom, she returned
to teaching a 3rd Grade class in Fargo, North Dakota.
Last year was the first SFCS year for the Roggow family
and Mrs. Roggow was placed as a 2nd Grade teacher’s
aide.
Annalisa’s husband, Tim, is often seen driving
the SFCS bus for occasional field trips and sporting
events. He is the Director of Christian Education at
Immanuel Lutheran Church. They have two sons at SFCS,
Aaron who is in 3rd Grade and Jacob who attends 1st
Grade.
SFCS 3rd Grade Students to Explore at Roper Mountain
Science Center
A blend of social studies and science will be the focus
of a SFCS 3rd Grade field trip to Roper Mountain Science
Center on Wednesday, November 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m.. The students will explore pioneer and sea life.
