Summer At Shannon program will be available within the next couple of weeks.Please keep these important dates and times in mind when planning your summer.
Summer At Shannon will run from Monday, June 7 to Friday, July 30. Full Day hours
will be: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Half Day hours will be: 7:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. Please register early, space limited!

The beautiful instrument
of the recorder is taught in the 4th and 5th Grades
at SFCS. This first semester course has adopted a unique,
self-motivated program to enhance music reading called
Recorder Karate. Students are required to play simple
songs in graduated levels of difficulty. Each song
is represented by a colored bead. Beads range from
clear to gold. Students must reach the purple bead
by the end of the first semester to receive an S in
music for that semester. Twelve students have reached
gold in the first semester.
