Lower School “God’s Kids” Choir To Compete at Carowinds
Students in the SFCS “God’s Kids” choir will compete in a choir competition to be held on Saturday, May 1, at Paramount’s Carowinds Amusement Park near Charlotte, North Carolina. The group, made up of SFCS 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students, will perform at 10:15 a.m. To prepare for the competition, the choir will perform for the congregation of Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church during the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, April 25.

SFCS 5th Grade students will experience an historic visit to Charleston, South Carolina on Tuesday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 28. Classes will visit Patriot’s Point, Fort Sumter, the Aquarium and IMAX theatre and the historic downtown area of the city.

Students in the 4th and 5th Grades will join together to present the program, We Are United, an island adventure musical that reminds us the unity with Christ and fellow Christians is a must for our Christian life. The program will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 7:00
