1st Grade Contributes to Cherokee Mission Trip
SFCS 1st Grade classes rallied to support their “Upper
School students” in raising funds for the summer
Cherokee Mission Trip. Students collected every cent
they could find in a penny drive that took place right
before Easter. This drive raised an unbelievable amount
of $340! The class also held a bake sale and raised
an additional $101 toward the cause. The total amount
raised by the 1st Grade to support their six “class
students” was $441! Way to go 1st Grade!
