families will dine on a hotdog cook-out and play games
such as relays, kick ball, badminton and water play.
The children will wear t-shirts, specifically for this
years’ picnic, designed by Vicki Sullivan, a
SFCS, K5 Aide.
Future SFCS Students Graduate!

steps a child takes in his or her educational career
is the big step from Kindergarten into 1st Grade.
SFCS is proud to recognize all of our K5 students in
a special
graduation ceremony to be held on Thursday, May 27,
at 7:00 p.m. in the SFPC Sanctuary. There will be
a reception immediately following, in Building 300

2nd Grade Students Travel the Globe During International
Day!
The sights, senses and tastes from around the
world came to life last week as the 2nd Grade classes
of Becky Eaton and Kim Maund celebrated their families’ heritages.
Throughout the week, each student presented a report
and poster about the country of their origin. Friday,
May 14, was designated International Day with a special
program and luncheon. Parents brought dishes from the
country of their origin and the students presented
a program of songs and dances from various countries.
