LOWER SCHOOL NEWS

4th Grade students learn what to feed
the monkeys at the zoo.

This is as close as it gets!

The SFCS 4th Grade students recently experienced their annual field trip to the Greenville Zoo. But, this was no ordinary field trip! On Friday, May 14, and Friday, May 21, Mrs. Roggow’s and Mrs. Ray’s classes experienced a trip to the zoo they will never forget. Students and chaperones went behind the scenes of the elephant barn, got close up and personal with a lion and prepared breakfast for the huge tortoises (topped with a yummy mouse). An additional highlight came in the form of a late night hike through the zoo and an adventurefilled sleep over!

Future SFCS Students Graduate!

One of the most emotional steps a child takes in his or her educational career is the big step from Kindergarten into 1st Grade. SFCS is proud to recognize all of our K5 students in a special graduation ceremony to be held on Thursday, May 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the SFPC Sanctuary. There will be a reception immediately following, in Building 300 (Lunchroom) on the Lower School Campus.
