Ambassador Program

SFCS Student Joseph Hayden |
SFCS 5th Grade student Joseph Hayden will be spending
14 days of his summer vacation as a South Carolina,
People to People Student Ambassador to Australia. People
to
People was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower
in 1956. He believed that if people from different
cultures could come together in peace and friendship,
so eventually
would world countries.
The program consists of meetings
with government officials, interaction with other students,
educational activities and home visits with host families.
As a Student Ambassador, Hayden will also earn academic
credit through the program’s many educational
elements. Families interested in learning more about

The Italian Market & Grill is offering a delicious
way to raise money for SFCS! Simply pick up the certificate
in either the Upper or Lower School entrances, present
it to your server during dinner throughout the month
of March and the Italian Market & Grill will give

SFCS students grabbed some quick cash
in the Magazine Sale Money Machine on Tuesday, February
17, at the halftime of the Varsity Women’s Basketball
game.
The machine held a total of $500.
2nd Grade student
Caroline Sanders was out-of- town, so classmate,
Savannah West filled in for her grabbing $34.00.

Julia Roman held on to $25.00.
6th Grade student Nate
Schwendler grabbed $21.00.
8th Grade student Brittany
Wall captured $33.00.
Plan To Attend the 11th Annual Golf Marathon
Mark your
calendars for the SFCS 11th Annual Golf Marathon! This
wonderful outing is scheduled for Thursday, May 13,
at the Southern Oaks Golf Course. Registration for
golfers will begin soon. Look for more details in future
