SFCS is looking
forward to an exciting school year, and while our calendar
is still in the works, we thought providing you with
these key dates might be helpful in making family plans
for the coming year.
- August 16, 2004: First Day of
School (PK3 – 12th Grade)
- November 24-26,
2004: Thanksgiving Holidays
- December 17, 2004: Early Dismissal
for Christmas Holidays
- January 3, 2004: Teacher
Workday

SFCS Teacher To Minister in Peru

To get to where SFCS
1st Grade teacher, Julie Sellars is headed this summer,
you have to take a plane, a smaller plane, a cattle
truck and an old wooden boat into the Amazon Rainforest.
Sellars will join a team of adults and youth from
Mauldin United Methodist Church (MUMC) traveling to
Puerto
Alegria to help build a dormitory for orphans. The
mission trip will begin on Saturday, July, 31, and
the group will return on Monday, August 9. If you

Spring Picture Day Is Coming!
Spring student pictures
are scheduled for Wednesday, March 10, and Thursday,
March 11. Families will receive information packets
that will explain how to purchase any photos they
select.
