Many SFCS seniors have exciting news to share about their future education! Look for additional news on the accomplishments of other graduating seniors in future editions.

Tyler Weekley has recently accepted his appointment to West Point where he will attend in the fall. Weekley is the son of Gary and Brenda Weekley.

Sarah Hanlin has received the John I. Smith Academic Scholarship to Presbyterian College where she will attend this fall. Hanlin is the daughter of Robert and Susan Hanlin.

Holly Seppala has received a Trustee Honor Scholarship from Converse College where she will attend in the fall. She is the daughter of Nathan and Joan Seppala.

Sarah O’Kelley recently signed her letter of intent to accept a Volleyball Scholarship to Brevard College. O’Kelley, also a SFCS Varsity Basketball player, led the Lady Crusaders Varsity Volleyball team to a 20-8 winning 2004- 2005 season. The team finished in 3rd Place in the NCISAA 1 A Division – the best state finish in SFCS Volleyball history. She recorded 55 service aces, 89 service points and 115 kills for the Crusader season and promises to have an immediate impact as she begins her freshman year as a starter for the Brevard team. Prior to the beginning of her college career, O’Kelley will be traveling to Israel on a summer mission trip. O’Kelley is the daughter of Laura Schultzman of Greer. Her sister Kayla is following the same athletic path and will be a junior at SFCS next year.

Spring Pictures Damaged

Life Touch has informed the school that the film of all the spring pictures has been damaged and the pictures will not be available to purchase. The end of the year is upon us and there is not enough time to schedule retakes. Life Touch is very sorry for the inconvenience.
