Forget To Attend Your Parent Orientation Meeting!

In order to communicate important information to our
SFCS families, grade level orientation meetings have
been scheduled into September. These small-group meetings
will provide wonderful opportunities for parents to
take part in
question and answer discussions as classroom teachers
and administrators discuss details for the 2005-2006
school year.
All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held
in the Lower Level Rooms A & B in Building 300 of
the Lower School Campus. Meetings will last for approximately
one hour. Please note the appropriate meeting to attend:

*11th and 12th Grade meetings will focus on college
preparation and will feature Admissions/Financial Aid
Counselors from Erskine and Anderson Colleges.
Crusader Cookbooks Make Great Christmas
Gifts!
The popular Crusader Cookbook is back and just in
time for early Christmas shoppers! This wonderful book,
filled with delicious recipes is available for only
$10. All proceeds go to benefit the SFCS Missions fund
for next year’s trip to Barrier Island. We will
once again be working with Habitat for Humanity on the
trip. Cookbooks are available for purchase in either
the Lower School or Main School (located in the Middle
School) Offices.
Hymn Of The Month Returns
Students in 2nd through the 5th Grades will once again
be learning a hymn of
the month during their weekly music classes. Our little
singers will be encouraged, not required, to sing a
solo of the first verse of each hymn during class.
Children may choose to sing more than one verse. The
hymns for the year are
