SFCS junior,
Caroline Hopkins
recently
participated in the
National Youth
Leadership Forum
on Law (NYLF/
LAW) Held in
October in
Washington, D.C. Having
demonstrated academic achievement
and an interest in the legal profession,
Hopkins joined approximately 350
outstanding High School juniors and
seniors from across the United States
at the Forum on Law. The
curriculum for NYLF/LAW was
based on actual events, allowing
participants to learn from examples
set by attorney of law and court
officials from municipal court to the
U.S. Supreme Court. Hopkins had
the opportunity to exercise the skills
used by Supreme Court justices who
rule on key issues facing our country
today. The program also includes
sessions with law professors from
some of our nation’s most prestigious law schools. The group also had
the opportunity to visit memorable sites that included the U.S. Capitol,
the Supreme Court of the United States and the Library of Congress. Congratulations,
Caroline, on your leadership qualities and vision for the
future of our country.
