Grandparents and Parents Are Invited To Fill Our Halls of Fun and Faith!

In preparation for Spring Fling, the SFCS Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) invites all SFCS grandparents and parents to help fill our Halls of Fun and Faith. Our students are receiving a loving Christian education from SFCS. Yet, we recognize that a family’s love of the Lord and passing that Christian legacy down to the next generation can be the single most important faith-builder for a child. Now you can honor your grandchild or child with your favorite Bible verse and help our school at the same time!

Bookmark cards have been mailed to all SFCS grandparents and are also available in the Middle and Lower School Offices for parents who wish to participate. Simply write out your favorite Bible verse and this card will be given to your grandchild or child. A decorative copy will be displayed outside their classroom the week before Spring Fling.

* If your grandparents did not receive a letter about how to honor their grandchildren through the Halls of Fun and Faith, and would like to receive one, please contact Joanne Heiser at the number listed below. All Bible verse bookmarks should be returned to SFCS by Wednesday, April 13, with a suggested donation of $10 for each grandchild or child honored. Your donation is tax-deductible and may be made payable to the SFCS/ PTF. If you have any questions about this effort or would like additional cards, please contact Joanne Heiser at 678-5111.

Remember The 3 R’s… Recycle, Reduce and Re-use!

Thank you to all who have already participated in the ink-jet cartridge recycling project! After just several weeks of participation in this project, the Booster Club is quickly approaching the $200 mark in money received from recycled cartridges. Remember to bring in your used cartridges to either the Middle or Lower School Offices and please, ink-jet cartridges only, NO LASER cartridges can be recycled in the current program. All money raised from this project will go directly back to SFCS. If your business would like to become involved, free pick-up of cartridges may be arranged. If you have any questions, please contact Robin Heitman at 213-8007.
