that can help raise money for our school! SFCS collects “Box
Tops” all through the year until the month of
March. Simply deposit labels in the mailboxes located
at the entrances to the Pre-School, Lower School and
the Main School Office Buildings.

SFCS Summer Mission Trip Beats The Heat And Has A
Blast!
The temperatures may have been over 100, but
that wasn’t what warmed the hearts of 79 SFCS
students, parents and faculty that recently returned
from a week-long mission trip to St. John’s Island
in the Barrier Islands of South Carolina. Participants
worked with Habitat For Humanity to help with ten homes – the
group helped to complete three homes during the trip.
Our dedicated Crusaders laid cement blocks, installed
vinyl siding, landscaped yards, painted, built utility
buildings, roofed and poured driveways. Students also
worked with the Habitat Resale Store where they restocked
shelves, assisted customers and traveled with trucks
to pick up donations. The mission trip also turned
its hearts and minds inward as they ministered to the
elderly in area nursing homes. Participants did crafts,
sang songs and played games, receiving nothing but
praise from staff members. While attending the camp
at St. Christopher’s, participants also made
time for fellowship, games and worship amidst God’s
wonderful nature. Everyone left with a warm heart and
a better understanding of the blessings the Lord Jesus
Christ bestows on us each and every day. SFCS has already
booked the same camp for the summer of 2006 and will
work to assist with Habitat for Humanity. The general
message from this year’s crew is, “We can’t
wait to go back next year!”
Spreading the Word…Spreading God’s Love!
In the spring of 2005 an incentive program was initiated
to encourage current families to recruit new families
to SFCS. The response from current families and the
quantity of students recruited for the 2005-2006
school year was outstanding. The faculty/staff and
administration
of SFCS wish to express our sincere appreciation
to the following family recruiters: Chip and Lauren
Hunt
Jody and Jenni Bryson Michael and Carrie Howard Kevin
and Donna Hollifield Joel and Robin Van Dyke Erik
and Michele VanAllen Matthew and Karin Collom David
and
Leslie Luke Mike and Kathy Devon Hal and Sara Long
