SFCS Celebrations of Christmas

Musical Drama
The 6th Grade students of SFCS will perform a musical
drama based on Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol on
Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m. The production will
be held in the SFCS Activity Center/Gymnasium.
Christmas Chapel
All SFCS students will take part in a special Christmas
Chapel celebrating the joy of the season on Wednesday,
December 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the Shannon Forest Presbyterian
Church Sanctuary.
Christmas Musical "O Come All Ye Faithful"
All SFCS Pre-K3 through K5 students will perform in
a traditional Christmas musical, O Come All Ye Faithful
on Thursday, December 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Shannon
Forest Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. Songs will include
O Come all ye Faithful, Hark the Herald Angels Sing,
The First Noel, Baby Jesus We Love You and Happy Birthday
Jesus.
PK3 students will play the roles of Mary, Joseph, the
three wise men, shepherds, angels, sheep, donkeys, and
cows. PK4 students will perform What Child Is This?
on the hand bells and K5 students will perform a special
rendition of Away in a Manger.
Musical "Meet Me at the Manger"
SFCS 1st and 2nd Grade students will perform a musical
by Celeste Clydesdale entitled Meet Me at the Manger,
on Tuesday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Shannon
Forest Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. Meet Me at the
Manger is an energetic musical about what we can learn
from the wise men. The part of Mr. Herod will be played
by SFCS Development Director, Steve Whaley, PK4 teacher
Cheri Sanders will play Miss Ellie and 5th Grade student
Katie Harrell will play Miss O'Reily.
SFCS 2nd Grade To Enjoy the Festival of Trees
The SFCS 2nd Grade classes will enjoy a scavenger hunt
through the Hyatt Hotel’s Festival of Trees on
Monday, December 8. From 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon,
students will take in the beautiful Christmas spirit
of the display and then stop at Bertolo’s Pizza
to see how pizza is made by the pros!
