SFCS Welcomes “Coach T” a.k.a.
David Thompson!
UPPER SCHOOL NEWS
Monday, December 8, 2003
Known to any student on campus, as “ Coach T,” David
Thompson hardly seems like a newcomer to our school.
He seems rather like an old friend to the many members
of the SFCS family he works with each day.

Coach T and students |
Thompson
serves as the Assistant Athletic Director, coaches
Varsity Men’s Basketball and teaches Physical
Education for 6th through 9th Grades. He earned a Bachelor
of Arts in Christian Studies from North Greenville
College and is enjoying his first year teaching in
a school environment. Thompson also works with Ryan
Godsey as a Youth Pastor at Providence Baptist Church.
He has served in that position for four years.
Thompson
and his wife Amber were married on September 13 of
this year. “The Lord by His grace opened a door
for me to expand His ministry here at Shannon Forest,” says
Thompson. “The calling that God has placed on
my life is working with young people. It is not only
a joy but a great privilege to serve the students here
at Shannon Forest Christian School.”
