Students interested
in taking Driver’s Education need to sign up
for classes in Mrs. Andrea Culpepper’s Office
in the Upper School. Classes that cover the written
segment of the instruction will be held on Saturday,
April 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The class is
limited to twenty students and costs $240. The behind-thewheel
segment of the instruction will be scheduled for each
individual at a
later date.
Cherokee Mission Trip Bake Sale
Two SFCS 7th Grade
students, Charlie Smith and Sean Spencer are organizing
a bake sale to help fund the mission trip to Cherokee
this summer. The sale will be held on Wednesday,
March 31, in the Upper School Cafeteria during the
morning
break time at 9:50 a.m. All 6th, 7th and 8th Grade
students wishing to assist in this effort may bring
bake goods such as brownies, donuts, cookies or other
treats to the Cafeteria first thing in the morning
on the day of the sale. Thank you for your support
of this important effort!
Students May Apply to
"Who’s Who Among American
High School Students"
SFCS 9th through 12th Grade students
who are interested in being listed in Who’s Who
Among American High School Students and competing for
their scholarships may come by the Upper School Guidance
Office for an application. Students must have taken
either the SAT or ACT to apply.
Key Club Sponsors Salvation Army Campaign
The SFCS
Key Club is assisting the Salvation Army in a campaign
to collect needed toiletry items for the homeless.
For the next two weeks, items such as toothbrushes,
toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant and body
soap may be dropped off in the box marked “ Salvation
Army Needs You.” The box is located near Brenda
Hillman’s Office in the Upper School.

Experience Auburn
University
The Auburn University Summer Experience
2004 Program provides academic and extracurricular
programs such as architecture, band, journalism,
swimming and many more areas. The camps will be held
at various

The Savannah College
of Art and Design will hold an information session
on Saturday, April 10, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Students may gain feedback and suggestions on their

SFCS 6th Grade Students Rush Aid To Haiti

The 6th Grade classes at SFCS recently participated
in an emergency mission project to rush food supplies
to an orphanage in Haiti. Students collected six boxes
of items that were delivered to those in need at the
orphanage. Upper School Administrator, Brenda Hillman
would like to convey her sincere thanks to all the
6th Grade students and parents for responding so quickly
to such a pressing need.
