A Big SFCS Welcome to Ray Barrow!

UPPER SCHOOL NEWS
June, 2004

Ray Barrow

If you are passing by Room 105 in the Upper School on any given day, you will probably hear an exhilarating, passionate voice and see a captive audience of students listening to the teachings of SFCS’ new teacher, Ray Barrow. He is a valued edition to our Upper School and is teaching United States History, Global Studies and Psychology. Barrow comes to us with 19 years of experience in public high schools in both South Carolina and Maryland. His passion for education has been fueled by his studies at Washington Bible College, Salisbury State University and his achievement of a Masters degree from Towson State University. Barrow holds a B.A. in Bible and Theology, a B.A. in History and a Masters in Education. Having been widowed, Barrow fills his leisure time reading, traveling and being involved in sports.
