Semester Exams/Quarter Tests Schedule
UPPER SCHOOL NEWS

All SFCS students in 6th through 12th Grades will adhere to the following exam
schedule from Monday, December 13,
through Thursday, December 16. Pre-arranged absences will not be approved for
any student during exams and/or
quarter tests. Only students with medical excuses will be allowed to make-up
exams or tests. Parents, please make
every effort to have your student present for each day of testing. No
students will be allowed on campus except
during testing times. *Note the early 11:30 a.m. dismissal time for each day.
No late stay will be provided.

Middle School Information:
Students in 6th through
8th Grades will take Quarter tests in only their core
classes – English, History, Science, Math and
Bible. These tests will count for two test grades and
will cover information from only the 2nd quarter. Students
will report to campus ONLY for classes where a test
is being given. No students are allowed on campus unless
they are taking a test.
Upper School Information:
All 9th through 12th Grade
students, English 8 and Algebra I Honor students will
be taking Semester exams. The information on these
tests will be cumulative from 1st and 2nd quarters.
Students will report to campus only for classes where
a semester exam is being given.
The daily schedule will be as follows:
8:10 a.m. – 9:50
a.m. First Exam Time
9:50 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Morning
Break
10:05 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Second Exam Time
11:30 a.m. Dismissal
Key Club Warms Up the Holidays with “ Operation
Cold Feet”
The SFCS Key Club will be collecting
scarves, hats, socks and gloves (new, adult sizes)
for the homeless in the Greenville community. Items
may be dropped off in the Upper School.
Middle/Upper School “Sweets” Socials To
Celebrate Christmas Vacation!
Students in 6th – 12th
Grades will ring in the beginning of Christmas vacation
with a time of fellowship on Friday, December 17. Snacks,
sweets and beverages will be served in the Upper School
cafeteria during the following times:
Upper School
(9th – 12th Grades) from 8:20 a.m. – 8:50
a.m.
All-school Christmas Chapel begins at 9:00 a.m.
Middle School (6th – 8th Grades) from 11:00 a.m. – 11:20
a.m.

Hillman will be holding informational meetings that
will cover plans for the 2005-2006 school year. Parents
of Middle and Upper School students are encouraged
to attend on the following dates:
