Rita B. Harrell is the Athletic Director for Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS) and also teaches various Physical Education classes.  She earned her BA in Health, Physical Education & Recreation from Slippery Rock University where she is an honoree in the Slippery Rock University Hall of Fame. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Under her guidance, SFCS has won 7 NCISAA State Championships, finished 2nd in the Wachovia Cup in 2010 and students are the current South Carolina President’s Physical Fitness Champions and have held this record for nine years in a row. Rita is married to Jim Harrell and their daughter Katie is a senior at SFCS. 

Mrs. Harrell enjoys cutting grass on her farm, fishing in the pond on the property and walking her dogs.  Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24...
