Susan Bursley

Admissions Coordinator

Susan Bursley serves as the Admissions Coordinator at Shannon Forest Christian School (SFCS). Miss Bursley is no stranger to our school, having attended SFCS for 7 years. She was also raised in Shannon Forest Presbyterian Church.

Miss Bursley holds a BS in Communication, Public Relations from Appalachian State University. A 2008 graduate, she was involved in the Coordinating Council of Clubs where she worked to actively increase student involvement on campus. In that role, she was honored as a "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." She most recently worked in Buena Vista, Colorado as a mountain guide and logistics manager for Rocky Mountain High – an Officer's Christian Fellowship program that focuses on developing Christ-based, servant leaders in college students, military cadets and junior officers. As Admissions Counselor at SFCS, Miss Bursley will put her passion for young adults to work in conjunction with SFCS School Ambassador Lynn Pittman.

Outside of work, Miss Bursley enjoys spending time "outside in God's wilderness," rock climbing and playing Frisbee with her dog, Lola.
