Shannon Forest has established itself to be a richly diverse, international community of high-quality learners within a Christian environment.  Students enjoy a well-balanced experience and success in each phase of life.  As the city of Greenville’s international community grows, Shannon Forest desires to do all we can to ensure that its student body reflects the diversity of the area.  We are pleased to announce that the application for the Josie Duval Scholarship is now available.

Josie Duval Scholarship Information and Application

Shannon Forest will continue to offer two Josie Duval Scholarships, annually.  These scholarships were graciously donated in honor of Josie Duval, a woman who recognized the tremendous value of education, but was never able to provide one for herself.  She continually encouraged young people to work hard in school, to take advantage of every opportunity, and to set high goals for themselves.

These $5,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to two high school students. Students can be nominated by an administrator, teacher, counselor, or pastor and will be selected through an interview process.

Application Process:
3.  Apply for the Josie Duval
4.  Submit the Nomination Form and Recommendation from a teacher, administrator, counselor, or pastor.
5.  A select number of candidates will be invited to campus for a Scholarship Interview
6.  Finalists are notified as to whether or not they will receive the Scholarship
