Shannon Forest Christian School is located in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. We are more than a school, we are a diverse community. International students accepted into our program will be challenged with high academic standards enriched by our strong Biblical foundation.
With over 15 countries represented, the international program at Shannon Forest Christian School provides our international students with opportunities to further their studies with rigor and excellence, and allows them to be challenged and held accountable to high academic standards. Our American students benefit tremendously from the unique experience of learning alongside a diverse population, and beginning to understand and appreciate a wide range of worldviews. International students at SFCS can choose from all of our course offerings, including College Preparatory, Honors, and AP® curricula. In addition, our international students have access to language courses geared towards native speakers, which currently include French and German. Non-native English speakers receive year-long support through our intensive and personalized ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) curriculum, ESOL accommodations in the traditional classroom setting, private tutoring opportunities, individualized attention, and access to quality college counseling.
Our school offers a strong Fine Arts Program, an award winning Athletic Program, and a variety of clubs and organizations to enjoy. Our international students will be a part of our Service Learning Program, in which students have a variety of opportunities to impact our community through volunteering. Our International Host Family program is another opportunity to get a cultural experience both for our international students and Shannon Forest families.
It is our school mission to offer a unique international program for all cultures and provide the proper support for our international students to succeed while at Shannon Forest School.
