Crusaders Shine At State

Track State 3

The Shannon Forest Track & Field team entered into the SCISA State meet with high hopes and came home beaming with pride and medals! The following is a breakdown of the State Meet:

-The Girls team took a resounding 2nd place to bring home the SCISA A-AA Championship 2019 State Runner Up title. The championship team won with a total of 161 points, but the Lady Crusaders finished close behind with 110 points!

Individual and team victories included:

-1st Place Girls 100M Dash - Morgan Rice-Weber
-1st Place Girls 200M Dash - Morgan Rice-Weber
-3rd Place Girls 200M Dash - Megan Rice-Weber
-4th Place Girls 200M Dash - Aubri Karr
-1st Place Girls 400M Dash - Morgan Rice-Weber
-2nd Place Girls 400M Dash - Ansley Karr
-3rd Place Girls 400M Dash - Megan Rice-Weber
-1st Place Girls 4x100M Relay - Alex Svacha, Megan Rice-Weber, Ansley Karr & Aubri Karr
-1st Place Girls 4x400M Relay - Aubri Karr, Ansley Karr, Megan Rice-Weber & Morgan Rice-Weber
-5th Place Girls 4x800M Relay - Alyssa Heaton, Claire Butcher, Aubrey Bouvier & Cara Grace Phillips
-2nd Place Girls High Jump - Alex Svacha
-5th Place Girls Long Jump -  Aubri Karr
-2nd Place Girls Discus - Lexii McDowell
-3rd Place Girls Shot Put - Magdalena Birkner
-1st Place Girls Pole Vault - Alex Svacha with a SCISA state record of 11’6” that met the 1st team All-American standards 
-2nd Place Boys 110M Hurdles - Luke Alsborg
